Downloading Free Trial
In order to download the free trial we may require your email, business name, address and contact details. However these will not be stored online and only be used to contact you about the free trial offer or to offer tech support or updates.
Licencing
When you enter your licence key into the software to activate the full version, the software will upload your IP address, email address, licence key and date entered to our server. This data will be stored securely on our database in order to manage your software licence.
We may use your email address to contact you for tech support, information or offers strictly related to ECD-REG software.
As this data is used for the purpose of fraud/abuse prevention and for managing licence history and activation it is not possible to request deletion of this data. However for specific enquiries about this please contact us.
Patient Data
All entries made into the software and all personal data of your patients is stored only locally in encrypted format such that it can only be decrypted by the software or by using the ROA access. As such it is the responsibility of the software end user/admin to ensure the safe keeping of these logs/records as per the current rules and regulations surrounding safe keeping of controlled drugs registers in electronic form.
Subject Access Requests:
We are committed to complying with the applicable data privacy and security requirements in the countries in which we operate. GDPR allows you to make a request to DBS for copies of all personal information held about you. This is known as a Subject Access Request. We aim to provide you with a copy of the information we hold about you within one calendar month of receiving a valid request. To begin this request, please use our contact details below.
Compliance with Laws:
In order to comply with our legal obligations, to enforce our terms of use, to protect the rights of other users of our services/site, to help with criminal investigations we may disclose information that we hold we hold about you to law enforcement agencies and government authorities.
In terms of using the ecdr software, for the electronic recording and storage of controlled drugs records, it is the end user/admins responsibility to ensure that they are are complying with all current laws and regulations.
